Kendal Ladies continued their unstoppable form with a 7-1 drubbing of Whitley Bay on Saturday.  Right from the start Kendal were in the driving seat with strong performances in midfield from Nicola Martindale and Gayle Laverty.

However it was the forwards who really stole the show with fast, fluid movement, clinical finishing and the ability to always keep the opposition under pressure.  Rebecca Delbridge and Sally Scott caused the damage on the wings with Vicky Jones profiting to score a hat-trick all from close range.  The other goals came from Nicola Conway (3) and Sally Scott (1).

Next week Kendal face Timperley from Manchester who will be a tough opposition.  Let’s hope this excellent form can be maintained and the team can remain top of the league.
