Kendal took a straight 11 players away to Cockermouth to play Keswick on Saturday. This was always going to be a hard game. In the first seconds Kendal looked as though they might score but were not able to capitalise on their early break. Keswick fought back and after a penalty corner capitalised with the ball passing the line in the air. Keswick scored their second before half time from open play.
In the second half Kendal continued fighting to gain ground with various shots going wide. Holly Price in goal and Becca Camp and Gemma Martindale at the back prevented Keswick scoring again but Kendal weren’t able to make the shots up front count.
