Kendal Junior Hockey
Kendal Hockey Club provides excellent junior hockey development opportunities for children aged 4 – 16 years to learn and develop their skills. We have a team of experienced and qualified coaches who provide engaging and enjoyable training sessions.
We enter U10 and U12 boys and girls 7 a side teams into the local competitions and would like to enter as many teams as possible. U10 are Year 5 and below and U12 are Year 6 and 7. All league fixtures are on a Sunday and the dates can be found on our calendar.
Girls and boys of all standards can come down to training where they will be put into the most appropriate group for their ability. With the right attitude and commitment, any junior player can make their way up through the groups and aim for higher levels of hockey. There are opportunities to play in junior teams at hockey festivals throughout the season and girls aged 11 and above can play in the Netherwood Development League on Sundays. Players will have the chance to put their skills to the test against like-minded players which will encourage their hockey development.
If you are interested in coming along to training or you think that your child will benefit from being part of an established junior hockey club then please come/bring them down. The first training session is free and the cost is £3.00 per session thereafter with £15-25 subs for the season.
